Ithaca #2 Regulator - Hanging Bank

Our regulator #2 - hanging bank clock s a beautiful and impressive perpetual calendar clock in terms of both its size and the excellent  proportions used for the case design. The clock is in excellent original condition and the 47 inch walnut case holds both the original weight driven time movement and the calendar mechanism which have been cleaned, adjusted and function properly. Both of the dials are original to the clock and the unique advertisement on the time dial announces a business in Rutland Vermont which probably ceased operations many years ago. The top finial, hands, weights and pendulum assembly are all original as well as the hinged door which contains two  original glasses and both of them have waves and bubbles. It even has the original labels in the clock instructing the owner how to set up and operate the clock correctly. It keeps excellent time and changes the calendar dates/months correctly as well. A really nice original piece for the advanced collector.

Self Winding Model # 18A Wall Clock

This rare clock is in excellent original collector condition with its golden oak case, original door and glass, beautiful original hands and painted dial, as well as the original pendulum rod & bob and beat indicator.. The directions that were placed in the clock at the factory are still in the bottom of the case and are covered by a clear plastic strip for protection. The clock keeps excellent time, winds itself every hour and can be placed in locations where it would be impossible to access a spring or weight driven clock for winding. The beautiful oak case is an impressive 42 inches long and 16 inches wide and a 12 inch white dial which makes it an eye catching antique time piece for difficult decorator locations. The batteries are of the old 1.5 volt dry cell type actually available through Radio Shack and fresh ones last more than a year. These clocks are becoming very difficult to find in this condition as collectors interested in self winding clocks is rapidly growing and becoming difficult to find in the market of what was already a limited supply of these unusual antique time pieces. The clock is running well but may require some adjustment after shipment.

Waltham Banjo in Mahogany

Nice original Waltham Banjo with movement # 8415. The darker gold/yellow background is reminiscent of some original Willard banjo glasses. A nice color balance for the Mount Vernon scene on the lower tablet and the original throat glass is a different treatment than the typical rendition of George Washington.

Dial nice original

Case nice original with no repairs or finish work

Movement nice original Waltham banjo movement

Pendulum nice with original tie down

Hands nice original

Finial nice original

Weight correct Waltham weight

Lower Bracket nice & original

The glass frames are flat and in very good condition. This is a nice original Waltham that has not been ruined by some well intended owner attempting to add value to the clock.
